Project Overview
Bin Omairah's scope of works under this Project comprise highway construction works approximately 4.8km, 4 at-grade signalized junctions, minor improvement for the Western Link Road approximately 600m on the west side of the PPP Housing Site and other related works.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al Lawzi Housing Project is one of the Projects under the five-year Public Private Partnership (PPP) agreement encompasses building 3,110 social housing units and more than 1000 affordable homes across three different locations: Al Lawzi, North Bahrain and New Town, Al Buhair. The BHD 208 Million deal, which is the first of its kind in the Gulf, aims to provide cheaper housing to needy citizens within three years and help reduce the Bahraini government’s waiting list.
